I have a list of 5 (that change monthly, depending on mood/events) songs that rotate through my head for the entrance song when I become PC.

-Creed: Higher

-Shawn Mullins: We Run

-Mandisa: Overcomer

-Switchfoot: Dare You (To Move)

-Foo Fighters: Breakout

There's about 40 more I could choose, but these all have some major significance in my life. What song(s) would you have as your PC song?

Ghost Love Score by Nightwish!

The only question is whether I start at 5:34 of the song, or 7:09 :)

I've been challenged by my wife to write our own PC song. However; if I'm allowed to pick a song to be recognized at RT, I would choose a song called: "I am a Patriot" written by little Steven Van Zant but use Jackson Browne's version off of his album "World in Motion".

Honestly, I've been entertaining the thought for awhile, though it'd be unfair for me to decide on one now.

But for the time being, I think the following are strong possibilities:

"Invincible" Adelitas Way

"Caught Up In a Dream" All Insane Kids
"Metalingus", "Rise Today" or "All Ends Well" Alter Bridge
"One Love", "Stand Up", "Fight With Tools" or "We Are Winning" Flobots
"Go The Distance" Hercules, "Almost There" The Princess and the Frog, "A Whole New World" Aladdin (not even joking)

"Ready To Roll" Jet Black Stare
"Magic" Looptroop Rockers
"Wake Up", "Maggie's Farm", "Know Your Enemy" or "Renegades of Funk" Rage Against The Machines (Sorry Mr.Belanger!)
"Hell Yeah" Rev Theory
"The Oath" Street Sweeper Social Club
"Here Comes The Treble", "Eulogy", "Resuscitation of the Year", or "Count Your Bruises" The Flatliners

There's also a handful Eric Thomas audio edits out there..

These are all part of a pretty huge, on-going playlist I'm adding to through this journey! ;)

This doesn't really fit in any area, but if you haven't seen the new Toby Mac Video for "Speak LIFE" you should watch it. I think Chris Brady should come out to this song in June.

Hey John!  Terri and I love that song, and in fact, we already came out to it several Major Functions ago when we gave the talk that is now a CD by that same name:  "Speak Life"

Boy am I behind the times with the music; the irony of working for a radio company. That's what happens when you listen to LT CDs and Rascal Radio the majority of the day! My little '95 Buick doesn't have a CD player so the few minute commute to work gets Christian music. On my way home from lunch today I heard that TMac's video was something you had to watch. I love that you guys came out to it - and figured your talk was inspired by the song.

I asked my adult sons what songs they thought would be a good PC song.  They all gave thoughtful ideas.  When I heard "What Faith Can Do" by Kutless, my soul was stirred, and I said, "That's It!"

Katy Perry - Roar

"I got the eye of the tiger, a fighter, dancing through the fire

'Cause I am a champion and you're gonna hear me roar

Louder, Louder than a lion

'Cause I am a champion and you're gonna hear me roar"

Bill and Jackie came out to it at the Major and our group looked at me and said, "That's your song!" Yeah Buddy!!! I envision that moment every night before I go to bed!

Katy Perry's "Roar".  When I first heard this song, my 11 year old son said "Mommy, that is the song you need to have playing when you come on stage".  I couldn't agree more!  Then, this past weekend in Columbus at the Major Convention, one of my favorite couples - Bill and Jackie Lewis - came up on stage to this song.  I pictured us up there - it was awesome :).

Back in January, I dreamed about the song "Speak Life" by Tobymac. I knew God was telling me something. When I was introduced to Life Leadership, something inside me said it was ok to do so. I went to my first seminar a couple of weeks ago and at the beginning before it started they prayed. When they ended the prayer "In Jesus Name", I knew I was in the right place. I hope it's ok for me to post this here.

FANTASTIC CD!!! Listened to it 10 times in the last week.
(Pretty good song too!)
Terri reading the lyrics inspired me to buy it and make a ringtone...... And as soon as I earn the privilege of having Mr. Brady's cell phone number, I shall assign the ringtone I made of his rendition of "Pants on da Ground!"
